  I’m a technologist, an artist, a designer, a dad. I garden and get awful dirty. I eat and cook and drink and spill. I play a lot and sleep very little. I’ve shot myself with a nail gun 3 times. The most common response: “On purpose?” For real? If it needs to be stated: “No.” I love my kids. A lot. I love spicy food. A lot. I hate TV. A lot. I like some TV. Meh, kind of a lot. I built my own house. I grow some of my own food. I read none of my cookbooks (but still love getting them at xmas – wink, wink). I, somewhere along the way, become an architecture snob. Unfortunately somewhere is somewhere after we finalized the design of our house. I don’t have enough money. I do have enough kids. I am a terrible liar. I am a worse dancer. I help my daughter with her piano lessons. I do not know how to play the piano. I am generally unencumbered with what I do not understand. I can form an opinion with little to no actual knowledge. Statistically speaking, I am probably smarter than you. It’s nothing personal, it’s statistical. Ergo, I’m right.
